Police received a report of a person dressed in a Santa suit acting erratically in a downtown alleyway at 2:30 a.m. on Christmas Eve. A 40 year old man was found sitting on a dumpster smoking crack cocaine when officers arrived. He was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.
An elderly man called 911 the evening of the 27th and asked for help setting up his IKEA furniture. Dispatchers Google instructions and assisted the man while officers responded to perform a wellness check. A 17 year old was subsequently arrested and charged with disorderly conduct for abusing the emergency dispatching system.
